Hedgegrove Boarding Pet Retreat started boarding animals in 1985 so pet owners could go on holidays and leave their cats and dogs somewhere safe and comfortable until they returned.
Our Golden Grove facilities are one of only a few kennels situated in the immediate metropolitan area. We are proud to have onsite staff 24/7 and a qualified and experienced canine behavioural team.
Our cattery offers the largest cat condos in Adelaide so our feline guests can choose to stretch, run, jump and be their kitty selves.

Our dog boarding facilities are second to none. We love and treat your pets as if they were our own. The kennels are maintained to the highest standard, cleaned daily, and offer air conditioning.

Our Cattery is secure, cozy, and peaceful. We understand the majority of cats tend to stress quite easily and it’s important to keep them secluded and private during their stay.

We've taken our huskies to Hedgegrove a few times now and they're always well looked after. It's a great facility, the nicest and best kept kennels I've seen. The staff really care about the animals, and our dogs haven't come home seeming pent up and anxious like they have after some other kennels. We'll definitely be taking them back again next time we go away.

Our 2 kelpie boys Chase & Nixon had their first time at Hedgegrove Pet Retreat this weekend, The boys never have been in a boarding kennel before and the girls there were fantastic with them, They allowed us too see the kennels where the boys were going in and also letting us help them get settled in too. They spoilt them and from what we can see they worn them out completely which for us is Fantastic, The boys have non stop slept since getting home from having too much fun. They also surprised my partner with a great pic of them both with a happy birthday to him from them too, that was a beautiful gesture from Hedgegrove Pet Retreat to do. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We always send our GSD, Rudy, to Hedgegrove Pet Retreat when we go away. The staff love Rudy and take very good care of him - even managing to get him to have a bath each time he's there. They post updates on Instagram and provide a lovely written comment about Rudy when we pick him up. Rudy has no hesitations about going to Hedgegrove. I would highly recommend.
